Who builds GuardChek

GuardChek was built by the owner of a security guard company to run that company: the schedules, the clock-ins, the patrols, the reports and the hours for payroll. That company still runs on GuardChek every day.

Our guides are written for owners, managers and dispatchers at security guard companies: the people who have to keep posts covered at 2 AM.

What GuardChek does

GuardChek is security guard management software for companies that staff guards at client sites. It covers guard scheduling, GPS clock-in inside each site's geofence, a guard tour system, incident and daily activity reports in the guard patrol app, and payroll reports. It runs on the web, with guard apps for iPhone and Android. Prices are published on our homepage.

How we write our guides

• Built to be used. Every guide gives you something you can use the same day: a template, a checklist or a worked example.
• AI-assisted, reviewed by a person. We use AI tools to draft and edit our guides. A person on our team reviews every guide before it is published.
• Laws checked against official sources. Anything about laws or regulations is checked against an official source, such as a government page. Those sources are listed at the end of the guide, with the date we checked them.
• Honest about GuardChek. When a guide mentions GuardChek, it describes what the software does today.
• Not legal advice. Our guides give general guidance only. Employment law differs by province and state, so have your own policies checked where your guards work.
