Facts checked October 2026 on trackforce.com, its terms of service and help center, Capterra and G2. Trackforce does not publish prices; the Silvertrac figure is the rate listed on Capterra.
Before you weigh any Trackforce alternative, it helps to know which Trackforce product you are on. Trackforce (trackforce.com, the security software company) says on its homepage that it is now home to TrackTik, GuardTek and Silvertrac. GuardTek was the original Trackforce product. Trackforce merged with Valiant, a payroll and HR software company, in 2019 and traded as Trackforce Valiant, then bought Silvertrac in January 2020 and TrackTik in June 2022.
Its what has changed page now says the three products "are now one" under the Trackforce brand, while existing customers keep the product they run and "Your current agreement stands." For a buyer in the US or Canada today, TrackTik is the flagship and the product Trackforce's pricing page is filed under, GuardTek is labeled "available in EMEA only" (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), and Silvertrac keeps a product page while its old website, silvertracsoftware.com, now redirects to trackforce.com (all checked October 2026). One more name to keep apart: TrackForce at trackforce.io is an unrelated employee-monitoring app.
GuardTek is Trackforce's field platform for guard tours, proof of presence and lone worker safety, with a web portal at GuardTek.net. Trackforce's GuardTek page lists alarms for falls or inactivity and push-to-talk among its features. Its homepage now marks GuardTek "available in EMEA only", and the same what has changed page tells existing customers their environment keeps running.
If you run guards in the US or Canada and want GuardTek-style tours and proof of presence, GuardChek runs NFC guard tours on the guard's own phone, with questions at checkpoints, missed-checkpoint alarms, tour reports for clients, a replay of each guard's GPS trail, and SOS with audio.
Trackforce is built for scale: its homepage claims 4,600+ organizations, 50+ countries and 55 languages, and its who we serve page talks about scaling "from 50 to 5,000 guards". TrackTik's guard app has a panic alarm, fall detection, phone-tilt detection and a danger-zone timer, and ReportPro AI turns a guard's rough notes into an incident report. Trackforce's trust page lists a yearly SOC 2 Type II audit and ISO 27001 certification, and it offers data residency in the US, Canada and the EU. The TrackTik page states a 99.99% uptime SLA.
On review sites, TrackTik has 4.3 out of 5 from 61 reviews on G2 and 4.0 from 83 reviews on Capterra; Silvertrac has 4.7 from 279 reviews on Capterra (all checked October 2026).
Trackforce does not publish TrackTik prices. Its pricing page says pricing is based on your sites and the modules you run, "not per-seat fees": tours and reporting first, with billing, payroll, BI or visitor management added when you are ready. You get a number by filling in a form, and a specialist follows up. For Silvertrac, Capterra lists $249 a month for up to 10 devices, and Silvertrac's page says "No contracts."
The fine print is in Trackforce's terms of service (last updated March 31, 2025). Unless your order form says otherwise:
Text messages and voice calls are metered on top, per its usage charges page. Trackforce says a typical TrackTik launch takes 6 to 8 weeks. For a detailed look at TrackTik quotes, see our TrackTik pricing page.

Trackforce features read on trackforce.com and the TrackTik help center, checked October 2026. GuardChek tours, dispatch, invoicing and the client portal come with Growth and up; SOS and reports come with every plan; ask us which plan includes the other features listed here. A feature listed for Trackforce may belong to one of its products only or be priced as a module; ask Trackforce for current answers.
Going by Trackforce's own pages, both Trackforce and GuardChek do scheduling and time and attendance, guard tours with client reports, incident and daily activity reports, dispatch, a client portal, invoices built from the hours worked, payroll from the hours worked (Trackforce also runs a payroll service for TrackTik customers; GuardChek produces payroll reports and connects to QuickBooks, Xero, ADP, Paycor and Sage), visitor management, time-off requests, equipment check-out, mobile patrol routes across many sites, dashboards or BI exports, and a forecast of each contract's margin. Where they differ is the price model, the contract, the size of company each is built for, and the features in the next section.
If you run more than a thousand guards across several countries, have an in-house corporate security team, or need a vendor with a SOC 2 audit, ISO 27001 and data residency in the EU, Trackforce is built for that. It also has fall detection, AI report writing and, on GuardTek, push-to-talk; GuardChek has none of these. GuardChek is for owner-operated guard companies, from about 15 guards to a few hundred, who want one system with a published flat price.
